carolyn from the lovely blog rose notes pointed out that it would be a good idea to crop the ‘green’ image and so i did. i’m not sure if this is what she meant but it was nice to explore the photo a little bit more.

It’s really interesting how the crop can influence an image. Which one do you like best?

The bokeh of the little spiky plants in the back is just lovely, and echoes the foreground so beautifully.

Really nice work! And the greens are so refreshing!! Yay for that in this heat!! 🙂

I think that “more” information is imparted in the square crops– a magical up-close look with a lovely defining background. If I had to pick favorites, I’d say the top and bottom. What do you think Jane?

It is so good to see what you can do with one photo. I think I like the third one best.

Thanks Carolyn for this eye opener!

Het is een mooie serie geworden zo, die stuk voor stuk iets interessants opleveren. Ik kan niet kiezen welke ik het mooist vind.

    Groet,
