two sweet merino sheep (madelief and roos) and a lamb (klaver) live with us on our farm and a couple of weeks ago the two big girls gave us their first coat. the softest wool i have ever felt. we washed the wool in salt and after drying i started unpicking the wool. a nice job to do in the shade with the dogs at my feet and the children playing nearby. after the unpicking my husband did some carding. we still have lots of work to do but this part has been such a big and wonderful adventure.

my husband took these shots while i was unpicking 🙂

Ooohh, dat is gaaf!! Om het hele proces zelf te doen. Ik ben benieuwd wat je er uiteindelijk van gaat maken!
