Jade 10

Mijn mooie lieve meisje vandaag 10 jaar en ik dus 10 jaar moeder. Het is moeilijk te beschrijven hoe dankbaar ik ben voor haar komst en dat ik haar mag zien opgroeien en mag koesteren. Zo veel liefde, zo veel mooie momenten, zo dierbaar…

Heaven (Live)
I don’t need no one to tell me about heaven
I look at my daughter, and I believe.
I don’t need no proof when it comes to God and truth
I can see the sunset and I perceive

Assignment 5: Telling Stories

The last assignment of the Pure Photo Workshop was about telling a story with photos. It was hard for me to think of a story but when I sat down to prepare for the story and took a few minutes lots of little stories came up. I photographed two.

Beware of the Dog:

Your Lucky Day:

I’m so curious about the stories of all the other participants. If you are too then look here.

Thanks participants for your lovely and inspiring photos and for all the comments you left. I’ll keep on visiting your blogs.

Have a sunny and happy weekend.

Love Jane.

Assignment 4: Learning to watch

For the fourth assignment of the Pure Photo Workshop we got the mission to photograph blue, pattern, detail and emotion.

Blue:

I hoped not only to photograph the color but also the dreamy feeling I get around this color.

Pattern:

It was not easy for me to think about patterns. I tried a fabric and when that didn’t work I saw the little wellies of M uze. I’m not really happy with the outcome but I did not have time to make more photos of patterns. I keep my eyes open for more patterns from now on.

Detail:

I love photographing details, but because there are so many possibilities it was hard to choose one for this assignment. I choose a very simple one, a daisy in the garden.

Emotion:

The pile of blocks fell down and M uze said Oh No (ohhh niej). Love the emotion little ones show, so pure and jet they copy how people react to situations.

Thank you Arnika for this assignment, it opened my eyes.

Can’t wait to see what the other participants have photographed.
